Our unique facility was developed to provide an end-to-end solution to our waste needs.. It is a particularly versatile solution because the components can be provided in a wide range of shapes and sizes without compromising the efficacy and efficiency of the overall system. Facility sizes range (1-10,000 ton/day and more) Our facilities are tailored to extract salable commodities such as synthetic fuels, electricity, clean water and construction grade ash. This allows waste to be thought of as a revenue and not a liability.
WERS technology offers the potential for substantial recovery of energy from all manner of waste materials. This process should not be confused with the term “Energy From Waste“ where incineration plants merely use part of the heat generated from their process as a means of recovering small amounts of energy. WTTEC uses all waste matter as a raw material in a conversion process that produces an energy rich gas stream. Different materials need to be treated in different ways in order to produce the best possible gas stream and our unique process can vary and control process conditions, in order to enable us to optimize the many factors affecting the final product. OUR FACILITIES ARE NOT RELIANT ON THE CURRENT INFRASTRUCTURE GRID. Only a small amount of power is needed to cold-start the facility, after which, we run on our own production gases and remain off-grid.
Our groundbreaking facility is an entirely closed process. Nothing is released to atmosphere and no materials are combustive as part of our process. Every last molecule of gas is captured in readiness for re-use in the production of energy.
The Gas output is carefully managed and conditioned at various stages of the process. This enables us to maximize both the volume and energy content of the gas according to each individual feed-stock. From the point at which waste matter is converted into gas, we apply five distinct process phases in order to improve and condition the gas, thereby maximizing the opportunity to produce renewable energy.
Dioxins, Furans, Nitrous Oxides and Sulfurous Oxides are all products of combustion. Our process utilizes a portion of the feed-stock in order to convert the waste matter into an energy rich gas, therefore none of the harmful emissions normally associated with thermal destruction processes apply to WTTEC’s unique facility.
Our gas streams are cleaner, more manageable and offer a higher energy content than any other systems currently available in the field of recovery and treatment of waste. The potential for any gas to produce energy is measured in terms of its calorific value (CV). The following tables and graphs illustrate the potential energy value typically available from WTTEC’s gas streams and compare the equivalent calorific value of gas outputs from the leading environmental technologies, many of which are only now beginning to become available.

Zero emissions- WERS is a closed loop system. Even during opening during maintenance, the system is under a vacuum and does not let any contaminates leave. A truly Zero-emission system.
Modular- Units are built to meet the output. If the output increases, additional units can be added to compensate.
Our WERS facilities can be built to suite individual fuel needs or produce MULTIPLE fuels, in parallel, using the same feed source.
